Planning Executive

The Role

Uniplural Group is seeking a proactive and organised Planning Executive to join its dynamic team. The selected candidate will support planning and coordination processes across the Group, ensuring projects and operations are scheduled efficiently and delivered in line with company objectives. The role involves liaising with internal teams and stakeholders, monitoring timelines and resources, preparing reports, and contributing to the smooth execution of day-to-day operational planning activities.

Job Description

The role involves overseeing daily rostering activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation, and maintaining accurate scheduling records. The Planning Executive collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, clients, and team members to resolve scheduling challenges and continuously improve rostering processes to support service delivery and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and support Rostering Officers, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

  • Conduct performance reviews and identify training and development needs within the rostering team.

  • Develop, manage, and finalise monthly rosters to optimise workforce efficiency and service delivery.

  • Monitor daily operations and proactively adjust staffing levels in response to changing service demands.

  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g. Facilities, Accounts), managers, and clients to ensure seamless coordination of scheduling requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of shifts, attendance, and leave.

  • Resolve complex rostering issues and address employee and client scheduling concerns in a timely manner.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Ensure high standards of data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Participate in an on-call rota, shared collaboratively between Officers and Executives.

 

Knowledge and Skills

  • Proven experience with rostering/scheduling software (e.g. Deputy) Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and reporting skills.

  • Effective leadership and people management capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Results-driven with a high level of professionalism and commitment to ethical standards
