Pink October

We contributed to Pink October by collecting donations at each Uniplural Childcare Centre between October 10th and October 21st and donating them to the Marigold Foundation.
 
The Marigold Foundation received a donation of €406.68 from Uniplural Childcare, which forms part of Uniplural Group. The goal of the Marigold Foundation is to work alongside individuals to raise standards, promote initiatives, and strengthen voices.

Halloween Costume Competition

This Halloween we held a horror competition of who could come up with the scariest and best Halloween costume 
 
In first place we have Diana Harshani Hapuarachcige and our runner-up was Odette Bellizzi.

Ms. Claire Bellizzi, Director of Quality Assurance and Standards & Head of Uniplural Academy, won the award for Best Businesswoman in The Health & Education Sector.

Foundation in Management Certificates Ceremony

On 13th October, our 8 Childcare Managers were presented with a Certificate of Achievement for successfully completing a 12-hour course for Foundation in Management, delivered by COO, Ms. Pamela Mizzi.

Mr. Aaron Axiaq, Director & Chairman, welcomed everyone and discussed the importance of continuous development. Count Chev. Anthony C. Coleiro spoke about management & the value of listening. Concluded with a speech by Ms. Claire Bellizzi, Director & Head of Academy, where she built on the value of listening and her approach to Apex Academy.
 
Ms. Alicja Cabel then presented the certificates to the childcare managers, who were addressed by Ms. Mizzi, stating “I was pleased about the journey we went on together, and I am glad to say that I could see that they took away key points and are able to apply theory into practice.”
 
The ceremony ended with a celebration with our colleagues to commemorate their achievements! We thank our employees for all their hard work and continuously learning through our training courses.

Agreement with HSF Health Plan Malta

Uniplural Group met with Ray Micallef, the General Manager of HSF health plan Malta and signed an agreement to provide health insurance to our child carers and managers of Uniplural Childcare Ltd, who will greatly benefit from this collaboration. 

The HSF Health Plan began on August 1st and will aid our employees in taking care of their health, knowing that an extensive variety of healthcare costs will be covered.

Mr. Aaron Axiaq's Birthday

Happy Birthday to our Chairman & Director, Mr Aaron Axiaq. 

We wish you all the best on your special day, from all of us at Uniplural Group. 

We celebrated his birthday with Sweets  & Champagne, after which, Mr Axiaq gave a short speech. 

“I would like to thank everyone here, but this isn’t only my celebration, it’s also Uniplural Group’s 10th year celebration.” He added, ‘’I hope that next year we’ll all be here to celebrate another birthday together.’’

Seminar by the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate

On 28th October, our COO, Pamela Mizzi, attended a seminar by the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate on ‘Improving Employee Health in the Workplace: Guidelines for employers’, on behalf of Uniplural Group. 

The seminar, which included 3 speakers and a discussion panel of 5, focused on the comprehensive guidebook and a presentation regarding mental health at the workplace.

Malta Further & Higher Education Authority – 10 Year Anniversary

The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority MFHEA invited Mr. Aaron Axiaq, Uniplural Group Chairman & Director, and Ms. Claire Bellizzi, Head of Uniplural Academy, to their 10th anniversary celebration. 

The Malta Further & Higher Education Authority ensures efficiency and transparency in FHE in Malta throughout its services. For the benefit of local and international students, this contributes to the development of a trustworthy local educational system.

This year’s party was Hawaiian-themed. The venue was beautifully decked out with colourful trees, flowers, flamingo, pineapples, leis and much more, along with a Hawaiian-themed dress code and food.

Uniplural Group 10-year anniversary

On the 12th of July 2022, Uniplural Group celebrated a full 10-years from first opening our doors, a milestone which we commemorated with the official launch of our new headquarters, speeches and a lavish red-carpet event.  

After 10 years of steady success and consistent growth – through which Uniplural has been awarded a total of 13 awards in the past year alone – this event marked both a celebration of past achievements and of the successes that are sure to come.

Collective agreement with the GWU

On the 8th of July 2022, a press conference was held by Uniplural Group which outlined the local company’s exponential growth, history, and its inspiring vision for the future.  

A collective agreement with the GWU was signed and exciting plans for workforce expansion were revealed.
