Job Description
The role involves providing housekeeping services within a boutique hotel is both rewarding and essential to delivering exceptional hospitality. The selected candidate will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all guest rooms, corridors, and common areas are maintained to the highest standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and replenishing amenities.
- Clean and sanitise bathrooms, bedrooms, hallways, and public areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish assigned areas.
- Ensure guest rooms are fully stocked with toiletries, towels, and other supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or lost property to management.
- Handle laundry duties and linen management as required.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Assist in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for guests.
- Work closely with other employees to ensure smooth daily operations.
Knowledge and Skills
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality will be considered an asset.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and professional appearance.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and shifts as required.
