Job Description
The Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while supporting the wider clinical team and maintaining patient safety at all times.
The role involves delivering direct care, administering medication, communicating effectively with patients and their families, and contributing to the development and implementation of individualised care plans.
key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients’ health conditions, including vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments, monitoring for side effects or complications.
- Communicate with physicians and the wider healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatments, and any changes in condition.
- Uphold patient safety, infection control standards, and confidentiality at all times.
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
Qualifications
- Valid registration licence issued by the Maltese Council of Nurses and Midwives.
- Currently residing in Malta.
- In possession of a clean police conduct certificate.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
